Davis Polk advised Bank of America, N.A. as administrative agent in connection with a $1.5 billion multicurrency revolving credit facility and a $2 billion 364-day revolving credit facility for Ecolab Inc. The multicurrency facility refinances Ecolab's existing multicurrency facility, and together with the 364-day facility, will be used for general corporate purposes, including in connection with financing Ecolab's proposed acquisition of Nalco Holding Company and to backstop commercial paper. Headquartered in St. Paul, Minnesota, Ecolab is the global leader in cleaning, sanitizing, food safety and infection control products and services, with more than $6 billion in global sales.
